A stunning handcrafted pendant containing your loved one's fingerprint, hand or foot print or drawing made from 99.9% fine silver (as opposed to sterling silver at 92.5%). If you order online we will send you an easy to use kit with which to take your print. You then return the print to us and we will transform it your very own unique piece of fingerprint jewellery. However, if you would prefer us to take the fingerprint, you can visit us at our shop, The Keepsake Shop, based in Macclesfield Cheshire.

How it works

If you order online we will send you a kit to either take a fingerprint or capture a hand/foot print. You then return the print to us in the envelope provided. Alternatively, prints can be taken in our shop using a moulding compound similar to modelling clay. The child's finger is carefully pressed in to the clay to obtain a print. This is then used to create your very own unique piece of solid silver jewellery. Drawings for the artwork jewellery need to be a simple line drawing in black. You can either scan the drawing in and email accross to us or post to us at our shop.


Guidance Notes

We would recommend that your child be at least 1 year old for the silver fingerprint jewellery and at least 2-3 years old for the glass fingerprint jewellery. Fingerprints develop at different rates and generally the older the child the more detailed the print.
If you wish to have the fingerprint taken at an earlier age you are welcome to visit our shop where we can advise you in person.
If your baby is very young we recommend the hand/foot print option rather than the fingerprint.
